Tour notes - Pixar part 1

This is a LONG overdue blog post, and I'm afraid if I don't write it down soon it will eventually leave my mental regions.

Back in 2008 I got an amazing opportunity to tour Pixar. Pixar tours are rare enough, but to make it even better... we were toured around by Randy Nelson, who is a longtime Pixar guy, a former ILM guy, and Dean of Pixar University. He had so much inside info, not really secrets or anything, but just great insights that you only get from somebody who has been around from (almost) the beginning.

This has got to be the best tours I've ever had - very inspiring. So rather than just have one huge monolithic blog post I figured I'd break it down into natural sections. I have a feeling there will be a lot of them!
